Ondo PDP flags off state constituency campaigns

The Ondo State Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organization on Monday flagged off its State Constituency Campaigns in Akure South and Akure North Local Government Areas of the state.

A statement by Mr Kennedy Ikantu Peretei, the organisation’s State Deputy Director Media & Publicity, said that the campaign kicked off with Akure South Constituency 1,  where PDP supporters trooped out to welcome the Campaign train, defying scarcity of fuel and new as well as old naira notes.

Describing the Mahammadu Buhari All Progressives Congress led government as insensitive and anti-people, Enr. Clement Faboyede, Deputy Director, Campaign urged the people to vote Peoples Democratic Party candidates come February 25 and March, 11, 2023.

The statement added that also, Basorun Ifedayo Adedipe, SAN, Ondo Central Senatorial District Candidate; Hon. Kemisola Adesanya, House of Representatives Candidate for Akure South/Akure North; and Jide Oguntodun, Akure South Constituency 1 “were presented to the mammoth crowd” by Fatai Adams, State Chairman and other leaders, Ambassador Roland Omowa, Balogun Eyitayo Jegede SAN, Senator Boluwaji Kunlere, Chief Segun Adegoke, snd Otunba Omolade Oluwateru.

In Akure South Constituency 2, Adeolu Adeniran (ADX) was also presented in addition to other candidates.

According to the statement, Ita-Ogbolu the rally venue for Akure North Constituency “witnessed unprecedented crowd as party supporters came from all the 12 Wards to receive the Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign train.”

Moses Olusola the House of Assembly candidate mobilised youths and women to the carnival like rally.

Drummers and a standby band added glamour and colour to the campaign rally.

It said,: “The excitement on the faces of the party supporters left nobody in doubt that victory in the 2023 election is assured.”
